If you are looking for dance classes which are a little bit special, every Friday (except during school holidays) there is a great African dance class organized in Besancon at the Ecole Jules Ferry. They are run by Matar DIOP of DIALI-DIALI and include traditional West African dances that are aimed at people of all ages.
Matar is accompanied on drums by Alexandre JOLY and Douty COULIBALY and this promises to be a very entertaining evening that will not only get you smiling but fitter too. These dance classes started back in October but are going on until the 15th November, so there is still plenty of time to pop along and join in the fun.
The first class starts at 18h30 and the second class of the evening begins at 20h15 and goes on till 22h. The price for students in 247 Euros and for everyone else it is 277 Euros, but you don’t have to pay all in one go as you can arrange to pay by instalments for the classes you want to get involved in.
