American R&B singer R Kelly to get unpaid feesAmerican R&B singer R Kelly has been granted an award of $3.4m (£1.9m) from his former tour promoter to cover unpaid fees owing to him.
The star's company, R Kelly Touring, had submitted papers in a court in Los Angeles requesting that a judge should confirm the money, which was made by an arbitrator in September.

France may prosecute former PM Dominique de VillepinFormer PM of France Dominique de Villepin may have to stand trial over an alleged smear campaign known as the “Clearstream affair,” against French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Mr Sarkozy and Mr de Villepin were rivals to succeed President Jacques Chirac and De Villepin is alleged to have been responsible for leaking a fake list of people, who were said to have benefited from the sale of illegal arms.

French tennis star Amelie Mauresmo beats Alize CornetFrench star Amelie Mauresmo has got through to the second round of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow when she managed a 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 6-4 victory against compatriot tennis player Alize Cornet.
The former world number one was trailing 4-3 in the last set but she was able to be the winner of the last three games, and in so doing, she claimed her first win since she had made it to the fourth round of the US Open.

French Anti-Doping Agency retests Tour de France rider samplesThe French Anti-Doping Agency has been retesting blood samples of Tour de France riders and two stage winners have tested positive for a blood doping product.
Italian cyclists Leonardo Piepoli and German rider Stefan Schumacher gave positive results for Continuous Erythropoiesis Receptor Activator (Cera).
