Post subject: Vehicle Registration |
Since 1st January 1997, it is no longer obligatory for UK nationals to exchange their British driving licence for a French one.
After 6 months in France, it is necessary to register private foreign vehicles. Applications can be made at the local ‘Préfécture’. Among other documents, an export certificate is needed from the DVLA if the vehicle is registered in the UK.
