In France, these king of joob are paid by what is called cheque emploi service. It's an easy way for peaple to employ someone without any trouble with social taxes.
Have luck. _________________ Semper Fidelem

Hi everyone,
My partner and I have set up a sarl business in Lot deparment 46 and 19. And are working hard to get the business going. We run a property Maintenance business. However we find it difficult as a lot of people do it cheap on the black!
What is this Chèque Emloi? i understand it is legal but not sure what is it. were we better of doing this rather than a Sarl? I never heard of this before and just wondered what it is
Thanks |

Hi all,
(True, i'm rather in vacation during these times near Christmas... Nevertheless wight was so wonderfull )
I can answear for what is called Chèque Emploi Service (CES) : These are aimed to pay peaple working for you, as proximity employment (eg cleaning your house, taking care of your garden etc...). It's aimed for individual use only.
For tiny society, (for societies that have 5 person or less) there's the Chèque Emploi Très Petite Entreprise (called CETPE) that allow you to pay them and be in order with social security. This can be established directly by internet (www.emploitpe.fr). There, you have to create an (your) account (adhésion). Then you'll have to declare your employees (déclaration des employés), write down the document ad hoc (and let acopy for the employee).
Each month you have to make a volet social before the 25th of the month and send it (thanks internet). Then you'll get the feuille de paye that you'll give to the empoyee (with his money) and you receive the charge you'll have to give to URSSAF (social security centre that takes the money back). You'll have to pay them before the 8th of the following month, either by automatic prelevement or by cheque.
You may have more clear answear by calling them at 0810 123 873 (costing as local call) or asking directly to your urssaf.
Good luck... and welcome here ! _________________ Semper Fidelem |
