Will work for free in return for accommodation

Hi there,
A lovely UK family will be moving to France in April of next year for 9 months. We wondered if anyone could help with 2 bed accommodation for some of the time or the duration? I'll happily work in return and am willing to do most things. I can offer skills in gardening, veg growing, landscaping, decking, cooking, hospitality, DIY, basic carpentry, decorating, etc and keen to learn more. My wife is fluent in French (I speak basic French but want to learn more) and can offer proofreading, marketing and project management. At present we have a 2.5 year old daughter and another (not sure of the sex!) to be born in January. We will be using the time to try France out before deciding to move their permanently. We are looking at the Vendee, Charentes and Aquitaine regions.
I'm already using WWOOF, Helpx, AngloInfo and Total France websites.
I can't think of anything else to say but if you think you can help, or know someone else, or can give any advice I'd love to hear from you.
