NEW TO FORUM - HOPEFULLY NEW TO FRANCE !

Hello
We are a two couples in our early mid-fifties with a 13 year old son.
We all currently live in Greece (have been for two years), and although the experience has been just that - an experience, we are not 'settled' and miss the cultural side of our lives such as the theatre, good restuarants, decent food, short flights or drives to other European countries.
We are in the process of possibly buying a Chateau near Toulouse which we hope to run as a business as well as our living accommodation - it is plenty big enough for both, with separate areas of space for each couple.
Fortunately two of us speak reasonable French, two hardly any and our 13 year old very keen to learn.
Thank you for this forum, we have found it useful and hope to continue to find answers to our many questions.
