| Everyone knows typical Gallic delicacies include frog legs...but for me, some locally made crusty bread with ripe brie on it...possibly some tomatoes to help it down (and some local wine)...thats bliss. |

Hi,
I live in a small village nearby La Rochelle and here the local food is ofcource seafruit.
I like verry much the oysters from the Island Ré and in the summer Im a specialist in making moules (barbeque, salade, indian)
the best recept is the moule from portugal what I found out by myself and offenly give to my visitors.
a verry special way of coocink is the moule made in the needles from the pinetree.
futher, pineau, the local liquer from the charente maritime.
