Post Post subject: Help! English speaking vet required in or near to Dunkerque! Reply with quote

Hi there,
I hope you do not mind me joining your forum to ask for your help?
Myself and my husband are going to be travelling around the meditarranean for a few weeks in our motorhome commencing the end of October and accompanying us, will be our 2 little dogs Candy and Buddy. Obviously, on our return journey; before boarding the ferry at Dunkerque back to the UK, we will need to get our dogs checked over by a french vet in order for them to have all the relvevant blood and health checks prior to them being allowed to travel and we therefore, are looking to find a vet to make an appointment with on our our return leg. Can anyone advise me of a reputable, english speaking vet in or near to Dunkerque?
Please help as unfortunately, I am ashamed to confess that I cannot speak any French whatsoever and therefore, I am having difficulties ringing around trying to find a suitable vet for our return journey.
I look forward to reading your replies.
Kind regards Very Happy
Sue

Hi Sue and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry no-one has been around to welcome you. I have been busy with my new baby and I guess the other regulars have not been on recently either or, as they can't help you, have just not added their comments.

I will have a look around and see if I can find some information for you.

Here are a few I have found on other sites:

These are in Belgium:
P.De Laender, Prins Karellaan 39,Assebroek tel 32-50-373133
M.De Man, Astridlaan 413,Assebroek tel32-50-357146
L.De Muynck,Torhoutsesteenweg 463,Sint-Andries tel 32-50-380554
L.De Rycke,Barrièrestraat 10,Sint-Andries tel 32-50-392679

This one apparently speaks good English:
Dr Dandrifosse
Clinique Veterinaire du Haut Pont
5, rue de Belfort
62500 Saint Omer
Tel: 3 21 88 04 64.

Cabinet Veterinaire du Leughenaer
59140 Dunkerque
(Jacques Deconnick) ... 03-28-66-59-41

Docteur Christiane Petry, 1148 Boulevard du General De Gaulle, 62100 Calais. Tel 0321347739

And if you click on the link below you will see a list from Google.fr:

http://maps.google.fr/maps?hl=es&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=veterinaire+dunkerque&fb=1&view=text&sa=X&oi=local_group&resnum=1&ct=more-results&cd=1

Hope these help and are not too late.
