Hi Jenny, and thank you for your reply, but, what is on here? I'm new at this sort of thing so please bare with me. I would like to visit France this year, but wonder about best time to go, places to stay, etc. etc. etc.

There is already some information on the forum that may be of interest to you. Please take a look around at other posts.
Regarding places to stay: it all depends on what you are looking for. France is a big place and there are many towns and areas that are all very different.
Also regarding when to visit, this is also up to you and what you want. If you want nice weather then obviously the summer months would be best. If you want snow then certain areas in the winter will be what you need to look at.
Let us know a bit more about what you want. |

Do you like sea or mountain ?
Cities or countryside ?
great weather or not ?
Is art and history important for you ?
Do you like technology ?
Do you like parks ?
Do you prefer reknown sites or unknown ones ?
