Hi Julz and welcome. You're obviously savvy enough to have found us. I'd love to hear about your house and your experiences of life there, with buying etc. Did you have connections with the region ? Holidayed and fell in love with the area?

Hi Rob,
Thanks for those kind words.

The first time i went to France is when we went to view our house. It was the first holiday me and my husband had alone after 27 years, the kids usually tagged along. Everything fell into place, like it was meant to be, do you know what i mean. Anyway i don't regret buying on impulse , i love it,every time I'm over there i never want to come back home.

This may seem like a daft question but if it's so good why not move over there permanently? If the kids have grown up and it's just you two...

I can see where you're coming from. Yes my kids are grown up, well at least three of them are, but i've got twins aged 10 a boy and a girl, my oldest was 18 when they were born. Also my husbands job here is good at the moment, Infact i've got to go pick them up from school now.
Catch you latter.

Ah that explains it, so in the meantime it's one foot in each camp.
