If you are a model enthusiast and living in Lons Le Sauntier region, there is a great expo and swap shop fair being organised on the 11th November at le Parc des Expositions. There’s going to be lots to see in the way of miniature railways, toy cars, airplanes and model boats to name but a few of the models that are bound to be found at the fair.
Model and Miniature Fair
This is a great venue with people coming from all over France to show off their models and to swap as well as sell some of the best collectible toys to be found. There promises to be lots of original Lego and Meccano toys at the fair too, so enthusiasts may just be able to find just what they have been searching for at the fair.
This is a great family day out with lots of people sharing their passion for this tremendously popular hobby. Miniature cars and other models, especially some of the more famous brands can fetch amazing amounts of money these days, especially if they are in mint condition and it their original boxes.
The fair opens its doors at 9am and will be open right up till 5pm. The entrance costs 3 Euros but children under the age of 15 get in for free but they do have to be accompanied by an adult. This ticket allows gets you into la Bourse Military so it is really good value for money. There is a buffet buvette and Tartiflette on site.
