Salon du Pastel des Monts du Lyonnais
There is a wonderful exhibition of pastel paintings which is taking place in Saint Laurent d’Agny. The exhibition began on 4th November and finishes on 13th November, which is this Saturday.
Entrance to the exhibition is free and the doors open at 14h and close at 19h every evening. Saturday however, the doors don’t open until 10h but the show will close at the same time as during the week. This is a lovely show of the history of pastel paintings as it has evolved over the last few decades with some marvellous works of art on display.
The exhibition is showing at Espace la Bâtie which is on the route de Mornant in Saint Laurent d’Agny and features sixty artists from the regions of Rhône Alpes, Bourgogne as well as some foreign artists from countries like Russia and the UK to name but a few of them. The honoured guest of the exhibition is Michèle CAUSSIN-BELLON, the great artist from Lyon whose art works are renowned the world over.
