The beautiful region of Cognac is full of charm and wonderful Chateaux which makes it one of the areas of France that people really love to visit. On the 20th January there is a superb and very unique ball being held in one of the most historic Chateaux of the region. This marvellous event means you’ll have to get to wear your best ball gown as it is being held in the magnificent hall of the Château de Cognac.
Old world dancing which includes waltzes that will take you back to the 19th century are planned for the evening. All this is supremely organised by Aurélie Boulan. She has arranged the floral displays with Gérard Dubin who just happens to be the best florist in Cognac which means these floral displays are going to be out of this world.
This ‘kings ball’ is going to be an event not to be missed with hosts dressed as princesses waiting to welcome you to the event. There’s going to be professional musicians who’ll play waltzes, tangos, jazz and even rock all night long. Cocktails and wines as well as appetizers and desserts will be served buffet style and the best part is that the press and media will be there to cover this unique event.
Each guest will be announced as they arrive in true style which means you may get the chance to have a wonderful photo opportunity as you enter the grand ballroom dressed in your best gowns.
Tickets for the ball are 60€ per person – which is a real bargain when you think about it and the proceeds are all going to very good causes.
