Indoor Market in Saint-Lo

Market in Saint-Lo

There is one thing I love to do at weekends and that’s wonder around an antique fair looking for treasures. Not only is a great way to spend a morning (or afternoon) it is also the place to find a bargain or something you’ve been searching for. Over the years I’ve managed to find some lovely items at French antique markets or brocantes, so when I see one advertised I always make sure I write it down in my diary and then look forward to getting there to see what’s being sold.

On the 22nd January in Saint-Lo there’s a fabulous indoor market taking place next to the Parc Expo. The event starts at 7am and goes on right through the day until 18h. With lots of stalls selling small furniture, books, records, pictures, toys, tools and textiles as well as many other items, it promises to be a great day out and somewhere to spend a few hours browsing through the lovely items that are for sale.

Of course if you are looking for a bargain, then make sure you get there early because this is when all the stall holders have just unpacked their boxes and emptied their cars and trucks. If you are one of the first to see the lovely items they’re selling, the chances are you’ll find the treasure you’re looking for and get a bargain to boot.

If you want to find out more about the indoor fair you can contact the organisers by either telephoning them or by email. The contact details are: Tél. 0231229464
