I love all kinds of art but when it comes to metalwork art, there is nothing more splendid. Sculptures made out of metal always remind me of the story of the Eiffel Tower and I for one think they are gorgeous no matter what they happen to be.
This metalwork exhibition takes place in Lesquin and starts on the 10th February and goes on till the 12th February. It is free to get in which makes it a really nice day out. On display there will be lots of wonderful metal sculptures that are simply out of this world.
Franky Morelle is an extraordinary artist who uses recycled metal to create some of the nicest sculptures you’ll ever come across. There’ll be over 60 metal works of art on display and one wonderful thing about this exhibition is that will be an ongoing display of how these sculptures are actually hand-crafted by the artists.
The event is being organised by SMF Services who are specialists in metalwork and especially doors and gates. It promises to be a really interesting exhibition of the works of an extremely talented artist, Franky Morelle but it is also going to be very educational with the demonstrations of how the metal is worked and these display will last throughout the whole day.
