For anyone interested in fossils and minerals, this is a great two day event that is being held in Guilherand-Granges on the 4th and 5th February. It all takes place in the La Salle Agora. The doors open at 9h00 and stay open right through the day till 19h00.
The event has been organised by the”Minéraux et Fossiles 26/07″ du Cercle d’études des sciences de la nature, so there are bound to be some really fascinating exhibits on show.
My son absolutely adores anything to do with fossils and I have a really hard time keeping him away from events like this. There is so much to learn that I don’t put that much effort in to stopping him from going to them!
The great thing about this event is that kids under the age of 12 get in for free, for everyone else it is a very fair 2€. One thing to remember is that all children must be accompanied to gain entrance to the event.
There will be 25 exhibitors at the show all displaying some wonderful things that have been found all over the world. This is a real crowd pleaser, so whether you are young or older, and live anywhere near Guilherand-Granges you have to put these dates in your diary.
