Christmas Market in Champforgeuil
Christmas really is just around the corner so if you live anywhere near Champforgeuil and need to get in a few festive goodies to get the celebrations under way, then you need to get down to the traditional Christmas market that is taking place there on the 9th December
The market takes place in the ‘salle des fêtes’ on La Place de la Mairie and it promises to be just as good as the last two markets that were organized last year and the one before. It’s going to be a very unique experience in the Challonnaise region where artisans, local producers will be selling some gorgeous Christmassy goods as well as lots of fun things for the children to do making it an event the whole family can really enjoy.
Called Le Marche Saint Nicolas, there’s going to face painting, sleigh rides and of course Father Christmas himself will be there to say a big ”hello to all the children. There will be food and drinks available and the fun begins at 16h and goes on right up to midnight. Santa arrives on the square at around 17h.
