Great Brocante Fair in Rennes

Brocante Fair in Rennes

Brocante Fair in Rennes

If you happen to live anywhere near Rennes, then I strongly suggest you write this date down in your diary. On the 29th January, there is another wonderful brocante taking place in the Halle Martenot, which is a covered market.

The doors open as early as 8am and the brocante goes on all day till 18h. There is going to be lots to see and buy at this antique fair, from small interesting items to old records, toys, books, small items of furniture and lots, lots more to boot.

Children under the age of 15 get in for free, but must be accompanied by an adult. For all other people the entrance fee is 2 euros.

The trick to finding the best bargains at these events is to get there as early as possible but even if you can’t do this, you are bound to find some lovely little treasures being sold on the many stalls that are going to be at the fair.

I adore strolling around these covered fairs because it really doesn’t matter what the weather is doing outside and I think it is such a great way to spend a few hours in the morning or afternoon, searching for some lovely items to buy.
