On the 21st and 22nd of January, there is a wonderful art exhibition taking place in Montfarville. There will be 23 very talented local artists plus 17 others from different regions of the country, showing off their works of art at this event, so it promises to be a very diverse and interesting display of contemporary art.
The nice thing about this event is that you can buy a piece of art that takes your fancy, so not only do you get to appreciate these lovely works of art, but you get to take one or two pieces home with you at the end of the day. Not every piece of art will be for sale but you will find out which are being sold on the day itself.
The doors open to the exhibition at 11h on the Saturday and close at 18h but on Sunday they open at 10h and close at 17h. Visitors will get to admire some great sculptures, paintings, photos, writing, sewing as well as some marvellous patchworks at this exhibition which means there will be something for everyone.
The artists will be only to happy to tell you about their passion for their art and explain their inspirations for each of the pieces they are displaying, which makes this exhibition so very interesting to visit.
There will be cakes for sale as well as drinks all of which will be arranged by the organisers.
