Spice Girl Mel B weds Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas

Spice Girl Melanie Brown, who is also known as Mel B and Scary Spice, has married film producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas on 6 June, it has been reported.

Melanie Brown, 32 and Stephen Belafonte, 32, were married in a private ceremony at the Special Memory Wedding Chapel, but they are planning a bigger celebration for friends and family later this year.

Melanie Brown’s publicist explained that the happy couple have been "good friends for many years".

This is Melanie Brown’s second marriage, because she also had married dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998 at a ceremony in Buckinghamshire, however, it wasn’t to last and the couple divorced after two years.

Mel B is due to reunite with the British girl group, the Spice Girls in December for a world tour.

Melanie Brown has recently been hitting the headlines because she has been contesting the paternity of her baby daughter Angel Iris with actor Eddie Murphy.
