Princes William and Harry delighted with Princess Diana concert
Princes William and Harry were both very pleased with how the charity memorial concert for Diana, Princess of Wales went and they thought it was an excellent way of keeping her memory alive.

Prince William told the audience of 63,000 at London's Wembley Stadium that his mother Diana, who died in a 1997 Paris car crash, would have enjoyed the tribute.

Princes William and HarryVeteran rock star Sir Elton John, 60, who had performed a version of Candle in the Wind at Diana's funeral, closed the concert after star performances by Sir Tom Jones, Take That, Rod Stewart and other top acts.

Prince William and Prince Harry opened the six-hour concert and came back on stage again after Sir Elton's final set. Prince William and Prince Harry praised the artists for putting on such an excellent show.

Prince William, 25, announced: "Thank you to all of you who have come here tonight to celebrate our mother's life."

Proceeds from the Diana, Princess of Wales memorial event go to charitable causes that she supported and the event was broadcast to 140 countries.
