Warner Bros want two Harry Potter fans for sixth filmFans of JK Rowling’s teenage wizard Harry Potter are being given the opportunity to star in the sixth Harry Potter film because Warner Brothers Pictures is holding auditions in London to fill the roles of the characters Lavender Brown and Tom Riddle.
The young actors must be between the ages of 15 and 18 and the auditions will be held at Earls Court, London in July.
The sixth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, is a movie version of the penultimate book in the series of seven, and in the story Lavender Brown, who is a pupil in Harry Potter's year, is going out with Harry Potter's best friend, Ron Weasley. It has been reported that the film producers are looking for a "pretty and lively girl" who "tends to be either laughing or crying hysterically," whilst Tom Riddle is described as "very charismatic" and a dark character that people are a bit scared of. The Lavender Brown audition will be held on Sunday 1 July, and the one for Tom Riddle on Sunday 8 July, both being held at the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre.
