Pop star George Michael forced to call off Prague gig
Troubled pop singer George Michael has been forced to call off his concert in Prague after a truck carrying his stage equipment met with an accident.

Apparently, part of a large podium was trapped on the truck after it had crashed between Bucharest and Prague, and they wouldn’t be able to replace it in time for the show.

George MichaelGeorge Michael, 43, who has recently been in the news again for being charged with driving while under the influence of drugs, arrived in Prague on Friday.

The concert, which had to be cancelled, was part of George Michael's current 25 Live tour and a spokesman for the singer said that George Michael was very sad that he wouldn’t be able to perform.

However, George Michael is still due to play the first concert of the tour at the new Wembley Stadium next week.
