Phil Spector’s trial for murder of Lana Clarkson continues
The trial of legendary music producer Phil Spector continues and Dr Louis Pena has claimed that American actress Lana Clarkson's death was, in fact, a homicide.

The coroner said that bruising on the tongue detected in an examination of her body, suggested the gun barrel might have been forced into Lana Clarkson's mouth before she was murdered, and he pointed out that the actress had no history of depression or suicide attempts.

Phil SpectorPhil Spector, 67, who came to fame many years back with his “Wall of Sound” hit productions, is accused of killing Lana Clarkson, 40, at his Hollywood mansion on 3 February 2003.

Phil Spector claims Lana Clarkson put the gun in her mouth and shot herself.

Lana Clarkson had been taking two forms of medication generally given for depression at the time of her death, but her neurologist had prescribed the drugs to treat her chronic headaches, Dr Pena said.

If he is found guilty of murdering Lana Clarkson, Phil Spector faces between 15 years and life in jail.
