Pop singer George Michael admits driving whilst drugged
Former-Wham! singer, pop star George Michael has pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs, and he blamed "tiredness and prescribed drugs" for his behaviour.

George Michael, 43, real name George Panayiotou, had been arrested on 1 October after police were called to deal with a car causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood.

Pop star George MichaelGeorge Michael had been in charge of the car and was subsequently charged with being unfit to drive through being under the influence of drugs and also cautioned for cannabis possession.

The additional charge of being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drugs was made at a hearing at Brent Magistrates' Court in April.

George Michael had been ordered to stand trial, however, the singer admitted his guilt when he appeared at Brent Magistrates Court in London.

The punishment for George Michael’s crime has not yet been announced.
