Britney Spears, 25, and Kevin Federline, 29, have two children and according to People magazine’s website, "The parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children."
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline presently have joint custody of the children under a temporary court order.
A judge to make the proceedings become final must now approve the settlement for the divorce between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married in September 2004 but Britney Spears filed for divorce in November 2006 due to irreconcilable differences.
Britney Spears was recently in the news for having completed the rehabilitation treatment at the third attempt after twice entering the clinic and leaving again after just one day and also because she shaved off all her hair in a bizarre incident at a beauty salon. It now looks as if Britney Spears is putting her recent problems behind her.
