New York Fashion Week - Spring 2006 Collections

New York Fashion Week which will spotlight clothes for spring/summer 2006 runs from September 9-16, 2005. Fashion Week this year will feature top designers such as Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Diane Von Furstenberg will showcase in Bryant Park.

Many Fashion Week activities center on Olympus Fashion Week at Bryant Park, but there are hundreds of other fashion-oriented events that attempt to capitalize on the presence of press and industry insiders.

During Fashion Week in New York more than 70 designers will show their clothes and ideas for spring/summer 2006. But this year's Fashion Week in New York is influenced by the disaster caused by hurricane Katrina. Charity is taking center stage.

Fashion Week will continue through Thursday and Friday, ending with a "Fashion for Relief" show to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. Participants will include Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie.
