But it’s not all over for the superhero just yet because Marvel Entertainment say they are creating a film based on Captain America and the comic's editor-in-chief, Joe Quesada, won’t confirm that there is no hope for him being resurrected in the future.

Marvel Entertainment has sold more than 200 million copies of Captain America magazine in as many as 75 countries, which goes to show what a popular superhero he was.
