Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to adopt again

Hollywood movie stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child, it has been reported.

This means that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are adopting for a third time because two of the couple's three children were already adopted from the countries of Cambodia and Ethiopia. In 2002, Jolie adopted her first child, Maddox who is now aged five, from Cambodia and three years after this, Angelina Jolie adopted an Ethiopian baby called Zahara, who is now two.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had a baby daughter of their own in Namibia last May, and they named her Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

Vu Duc Long, head of Vietnam's international adoption department, said he received papers a few days ago from Angelina Jolie asking to be allowed to adopt a child.

Because the couple are not yet married it will delay the adoption to a degree and Vu Duc Long explained: "She is not yet married so the file was from her individually. It will take a few months for us to consider this."

The plan to adopt again was not new because last June, Angelina Jolie told US news network CNN they had plans to do so once more.
