The owner Esther Tognozzi refused to shave Britney Spear’s head, fearing a writ from the singer's management company for ruining her image, and apparently tried to talk Britney Spears out of wanting this.
However, this failed and Britney Spears grabbed the razor and shaved her hair off herself and then after doing so she looked in the mirror and burst into tears saying: " Oh, my God, I shaved it all off. My mum is going to be so upset with me."
Just an hour later Britney Spears went to the Body and Soul Tattoo parlour where she had pink lips tattooed onto her wrist and a black, pink and white cross on her hip.
An onlooker was reported to have said: "She said she was tired of having things plugged into her. She seemed distraught and disturbed, like she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown," and Emily Wynne-Hughes, who was in the tattoo parlour at the time, said Britney Spears looked "distraught and disturbed".
Then, a few hours after shaving her head and getting the tattoos, Britney Spears, now wearing a dark wig to hide her bald head, is reported to have gone to the Cedar-Sinai Medical Centre in Beverly Hills.
