The Who are poised for Glastonbury but Kylie’s too busy
Although Kylie Minogue is reportedly too busy for Glastonbury Festival this year, The Who have been confirmed by Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis as poised to appear.

The Who’s legendary guitarist Pete Townsend had apparently leaked the news to London radio station XFM that he and Roger Daltrey would be performing at Glastonbury.

Kylie MinogueSurviving members Roger Daltrey, 62, and Pete Townshend, 61, are the only two left of the original line-up, which had included bassist John Entwhistle and drummer Keith Moon, both of whom are now sadly dead.

Michael Eavis had also said that the Who were not the “biggest band in the world” and that the act who will be headlining, and who are a “modern band,” would be announced after tickets had sold out in April.

Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival go on sale on 1 April after a pre-registration period in February.

Michael Eavis also confirmed that the Arctic Monkeys and Bjork were on this year’s Glastonbury Festival line-up.
