Heather Mills McCartney’s solicitors deny divorce moneyMishcon de Reya Solicitors the lawyers for Heather Mills McCartney who are handling her pending divorce from Sir Paul McCartney have denied she has agreed to a settlement of money, although a report in the Sunday News of the World newspaper claimed that Sir Paul had offered a settlement of £32m (US$63m).
In a statement, Heather Mills McCartney’s lawyers said: "With regard to the article in yesterday's News of the World, we would like to state that there has been no offer made whatsoever at any time to our client and therefore no settlement has been agreed."
 Sir Paul McCartney, 64, and Lady Heather Mills McCartney, 38, who have been married for four years, and have a little girl aged-three called Beatrice, had begun divorce proceedings in July after becoming separated in May of the same year. In October, Lady Heather Mills McCartney announced she was taking legal action against three newspapers for "false, damaging and immensely upsetting" claims regarding her divorce.
