Reporters Without Borders list 13 Internet enemies
Human rights group Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has published a list of 13 countries described as "enemies of the internet" and for the first time, Egypt has been added to the list while Nepal, Libya and the Maldives have all been deleted.

The list consists of countries that are said to be suppressing freedom of expression on the Internet and the full list is as follows: Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

The RSF pressure group has organised a 24-hour protest and invited web users to vote for the worst of the offending countries.

RSF website visitors can also leave a voice message for Yahoo's co-founder Jerry Yang, saying what they think about the firm's involvement in China.

The search engine giant has been criticised along with other Internet companies for assisting the Chinese authorities in blocking access to some material online.
