Pop star Michael Jackson leaves Bahrain's Two Seas record label
Pop singer and superstar Michael Jackson has pulled out of his involvement with a record label in Bahrain called Two Seas.

Earlier on this year, Two Seas announced it would release Michael Jackson's new album, his first release since 2001 and at the time it was said that Two Seas was a joint venture between Jackson and a member of the Bahraini royal family, Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa, however, the singer's American spokeswoman, Raymone Bain, says he is no longer affiliated with the label.

Guy Holmes, chairman of UK company Gut Records, had been named manager of Two Seas, and was supposed to be handling the production of Michael Jackson's new record but his company said no deal had ever been confirmed with the star.

Michael Jackson has now created a new company, the Michael Jackson Company, which will look after all his business affairs and may act as a label for his next release due in 2007.

Michael Jackson has lived in the Middle East after he was acquitted of child abuse charges in 2005, but he has continued to face a series of legal challenges in America.
