Orange launch Europe's first "quadruple play" mobile phone service
Orange is launching Europe's first "quadruple play" mobile phone service and this means customers will get just one bill from the company for mobile, landline, internet and TV services.

Orange also said it would be starting a trial for customers to use one handset to cover mobile, fixed-line and voice over internet (Voip) services.

Under the new plans, Orange's parent company France Telecom will be rebranding all its services across Europe under the Orange name over the next 18 months and it has been reported that the rebranding will cost 160m euros ($205m; £109.5m).

The company also said it would give free high speed internet access to British customers who spend at least £30 a month on a mobile phone contract, but the customer also has to sign up to the deal for at least 18 months.

The new move arrives as the telecommunications industry is going through a major upheaval, with companies looking to expand to cover various additional services.
