US rapper Snoop Dogg arrested at London's Heathrow
American rapper Snoop Dogg has been arrested, after what has been described as a "fracas," at London's Heathrow Airport and seven police officers were left with minor injuries.

Police said 30 people were involved in a disturbance in a business lounge at Terminal 1 on Wednesday.

The people were informed they could not board their flight and they then "became abusive and pushed officers", police said.

The rap star, real name Calvin Broadus, and five other men were held on suspicion of violent disorder and affray. The six men, all US citizens, were taken into custody at two west London police stations.

The injured police officers mainly sustained cuts and bruises, with one suffering a fractured hand.

Snoop Dogg and his entourage were on their way to Johannesburg, South Africa.

Snoop Dogg started his very successful but controversial career in the early 1990s as a rapper and has since branched out into acting, starring in the remake of Starsky and Hutch.
