X Factor judge and Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole tops chartsGirls Aloud singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has reached the number one spot in the UK pop charts with her single Fight For This Love.
It has sold over 290,000 copies so far and is the fastest-selling record this year, as well as being Cole’s first solo release.
 Cole, who was dubbed the sexiest woman in the world by readers of FHM magazine in April, has toppled Alexandra Burke, who had been the winner of the X Factor in 2008, from the number one slot. Cole had performed Fight For This Love on the X Factor when12.7 million viewers were watching the show last week. Other recent publicity that has helped her rise to the top was being featured on the cover of the British edition of Vogue in February.
