Next year’s Glastonbury Festival a sell-out already
The Glastonbury Festival for next year has already sold out and it did so in less than a day after tickets for the event went on sale on Sunday morning (4 October).

Anyone who had registered in advance with the site was able to purchase a ticket or they had the option of paying a £50 deposit then as a reservation before making full payment by the end of February.

Glastonbury Festival 2010Glastonbury Festival tickets for 2010 are £10 more expensive than they were for this year’s event and were selling at £185 plus an additional £5 booking fee and £4.95 postage.

Glastonbury Festival organisers decided to make use of the same registration system that they had for last year's festival.

The Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts website states: "Tickets for Glastonbury 2010 went on sale at 9am this morning (Sunday 4 October) and the festival's 40th anniversary is now sold out.

"Thank you to all those who bought tickets. Confirmation emails are still in the process of being sent out.

"For those who didn't manage to reserve or buy tickets today (Sunday), there will be a small number of tickets on sale over the coming weeks when any failed transactions have been cancelled."
