The star’s label Sony Music said that This Is It would also be included on a new album, as well as unreleased versions of his greatest hits.
When Jackson wrote and recorded the new song has not been revealed but it is known that he had been working with Akon and Will.i.am before he died back in June.
The forthcoming album by Michael Jackson will be in two parts with the first disc containing the singer’s greatest hits, and will close with This Is It. Disc two will be made up of previously unreleased versions of the star’s hits.
