French Catalans Dragons team coach criticises Huddersfield Giants

Kevin Walters, the Catalans Dragons rugby coach, has criticised their next opponents the Huddersfield Giants, by claiming they indulge in "wrestle-mania" tactics.

Walters says that the British side try to gain an advantage by using unfair wrestling techniques in the game.

Walters has complained to the referees chief Stuart Cummings in readiness for the forthcoming match, which is a preliminary semi-final and is to take place on Friday.

The Catalans Dragons coach says that the wrestling tactics slow down the game and whilst he admits that the French side also try to slow down the game but he says they make sure they are doing everything within the rules of rugby.

The winners of the game on Friday will go forward to play against either Leeds or St Helens in the next semi-final.
