It is thought that Marina was beaten to death last month, and that the body was then in a depp freeze before being encased in concrete.
The parents are facing an investigation and charges of manslaughter, violence against a minor, and wasting police time.
The prosecution claim that parents had confessed to police that they had abused Marina, who suffered from Down's Syndrome, but nevertheless maintained that the little girl’s death was from natural causes.
If they are found guilty, the couple who have four other children, could face life.
