Mary J Blige, Chris Brown and Natalie Cole pull out of concertA Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna has run into unexpected problems because some of the main stars cannot appear at it.
Mary J Blige, Chris Brown and Natalie Cole, who had previously been reported as confirmed acts for the gig on 26 September at Schoenbrunn castle, have now been announced as unavailable for it.
However, earlier this week, Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine , who is one of the organisers of the tribute concert told the press that up to 25 performers had been booked. Karynne Tencer, spokeswoman for Blige, said that her client would not be available because she is already scheduled to be at a Gucci fashion show, and Cole cannot be at the concert because she is due at an event in Tennessee. It has also emerged that Brown, who is serving five years' probation for assaulting his former girlfriend, Rihanna, would have to get the permission from the court to be allowed to travel to Vienna and this has not been applied for.
