Michael Jackson’s body had lethal levels of propofol
Lethal amounts of the anaesthetic drug propofol may have caused the death of Michael Jackson, and a coroner's office documents reveal that dangerous levels of the substance were found in the singer’s body when he died.

A previously sealed search warrant that contains this information has now been made public in Texas.

Michael JacksonJackson died in June from a cardiac arrest whilst at his home in Los Angeles, and his doctor, Conrad Murray, although he has been investigated and questioned by police, has not been named as a suspect for causing the star’s death.

It has been reported that the LA chief coroner "had reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson's cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol".

Dr Murray has admitted that he gave Jackson propofol because he suffered from insomnia, although he had been trying to wean the singer off the drug and he has denied any wrongdoing.
