Michael Jackson official merchandise gets LA judge approval
A judge in Los Angeles has given legal approval to a deal with Bravado for official Michael Jackson merchandise sales.

Included in the agreement will be all sorts of products ranging from Michael Jackson trading cards and Michael Jackson clothing to Michael Jackson mobile phone themes.

Michael JacksonHowever, the proposal for a travelling exhibition of the singer's possessions has been delayed because the deceased star’s mother Katherine Jackson has objected to this.

She is worried about what will happen to her son's legacy and about the proposed splitting of proceeds with promoter AEG Live.

Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff gave his approval to a deal between Michael Jackson's estate, AEG Live and Columbia Pictures for a film to be released 30 October that will show the singer’s final rehearsals for the London concerts he never got to perform.

A decision on the exhibition is reported to being expected on Friday. Kathy Jorrie, a lawyer for AEG, had explained that the exhibition had to work to deadlines and that they could not afford to wait much longer.
