French island of Corsica shocked by teenage murderer of family
The French island of Corsica has been shocked by the murder of a family by a teenager, who has admitted to shooting his parents and twin 10-year-old brothers in their beds. Reports say that he used a hunting rifle to kill his family on Tuesday night.

The teenager, who is aged just 16, was taken into police custody after a relative he had told about what he had done got in touch with the authorities.

Police trying to find out why the teenager, who has not yet been identified, carried out this gruesome murder.

It is said that he had gone missing for several hours after he had killed his parents and brothers before the teenager was handed in to the police by a relative.

France-Info radio quoted policeman Hubert Deininger as having explained that: "It is a bit premature to draw an analysis about his psychological situation."
