30-year-old Doherty, who is no stranger to being in trouble with the law over drugs offences, will also be sentenced for two heroin possession charges, as well as two other driving offences.
Doherty had been arrested in Gloucester in June after he had been appearing in concert there.
Doherty, who lives in Durley, Wiltshire, has pleaded guilty to the drug charges, driving without insurance and driving without a correct licence but still hasn’t made his plea on a drink-driving charge. The singer has been let out on conditional bail until 2 October this autumn.
Doherty is a friend of Amy Winehouse, another star who has had trouble with the law over drink and drugs.
