Charlie Winston comes from Cornwall where he was born in 1978 but he grew up in Suffolk and then moved to London. It was in the big city that his musical career really began.
Winston went on tour with Peter Gabriel in 2007, and then in July he performed at the former Genesis singer’s Womad festival in Wiltshire.
Charlie Winston has a forthcoming major tour of his own in France in October, and his album Hobo is also being released in Germany, Scandinavia, Spain and Italy, as well as Canada and America.
