Michael Douglas’ son Cameron in court for drugs

The Hollywood star Michael Douglas’ son Cameron could be sentenced to life imprisonment for selling drugs over a three-year period, it has been reported.

30-year-old Cameron Douglas, who is an actor too like his father, is accused of possessing and distributing methamphetamine.

Douglas was originally arrested in Manhattan on 28 July but he now faces a minimum 10-year sentence and a maximum of life in prison.

The prosecution claim that Douglas received large amounts of methamphetamine in California and then sent the drug to New York between the years 2006 and 2009.

Cameron Douglas had a film role along with his father Michael and grandfather Kirk in the movie It Runs in the Family back in 2003.

No date for the next court hearing for Cameron Douglas’ continued trial has, as yet, been given.
