Pop star Michael Jackson’s autopsy result delayed
The release of singer Michael Jackson's autopsy results has been delayed until next week, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

The findings of the star’s autopsy were expected this week but have now been carried over until next week, although no official reason for the delay has been stated.

Pop star Michael JacksonThere has been a lot of speculation over the potential role prescribed drugs played in Jackson’s death.

50-year-old Jackson had died at home in Los Angeles on 25 June.

Coroner spokesman Craig Harvey explained that preliminary results provided no indication of any foul play, however, the cause of death had not been determined as yet.

Harvey confirmed that the singer had been on medication before he died, but gave no further details.

The Las Vegas home and surgery of Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, have been searched as part of an ongoing manslaughter investigation and mobile phones and a computer hard drive were taken away by police officers.
