UK rock band Coldplay to be The Simpsons’ guests

Top British rock band Coldplay are going to be making a guest appearance in The Simpsons, TV animation series, it has been announced.

Apparently, Homer Simpson is going to hire the group to play a private concert for him and Bart after he becomes a lottery winner.

Coldplay will be following in the footsteps of other singers and rock bands including U2, Sting, Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John and The Moody Blues, all of whom have appeared as guests on The Simpsons in the past.

Comedy actor Seth Rogen and actress Neve Campbell’s voices are said to be featured in the 21st season of The Simpsons, which goes out in America on Fox from 27 September onward.

The late singer and actress Eartha Kitt had also recorded for the series before she died last year.
